Damond and La'Toya

Damond L. Nollan

Moustache

Damond grew up in the beautiful pacific northwestern city of Tacoma, Washington. One year after graduating from Lincoln High School, Damond took the 52 hour cross country journey to North Carolina. A Music Major, he later obtained his B.S. from Elizabeth City State University and his M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. Damond has three children, Darius (23), Dakota (16) and Danica (14). For fun, he enjoys game nights with friends, cooking, traveling, and engaging conversations with a refreshing drink in hand.

Our Story

One late evening, in February 2018, Damond found himself swiping through the sea of dating profiles, hoping to meet someone new and interesting. Meanwhile, a short 20 minutes away, La’Toya stumbled across a profile of a handsome gentleman and thought to herself, hmmmm, he’s cute. Little did they know, one right swipe of the thumb would change their lives forever. Some flirtatious banter was exchanged before finally deciding to schedule an in-person meeting at a local museum. The date was March 1st. They spent hours, walking and talking, before transitioning to dinner and drinks at an intimate downtown bar. They bonded over their mutual love of red wine, travel and family. Three years and a quarantine later, Damond decided it was time to make it official…and of course she said, Yes!
